On May 10, 2016, SERVPRO of Pascagoula technicians encountered a new way to help. While on-site conducting quality water mitigation services at a home in Gulfport MS, what peered out at them while removing wet drywall ceilings melted their hearts. A lone baby raccoon, that was barely able to walk, was found abandoned and mother-less. Technicians Steven Riley, Perry Favor, and Casey Gullotta decided to be SERVPRO HERO READY in a different way. They safely secured the animal in a box lined with soft towels, and contacted Gulf Coast Wildlife Rehab (www.gulfcoastwildliferehab.org), which came quickly thereafter to the rescue. The baby raccoon will receive top notch healthcare to ensure a happy quality of life. Hats off to these young men for going above and beyond for ALL life!
